According to the published book, the town of ブリニョガン was located in the hill recently [2]. I come by old Breton from bren (hill), and ogan which is the second element of the name is other places, and the first part of the commune name exists as a family name.
However, the different writer wrote it down in this way in 1982 [3]. "It is from braen meaning that I come from Braenog which is another name for Welsh cardigan shear and give off a bad smell and og, and brein of ブリニョガン of Finistere points to the rotten state, and it is thought that it is a thing with an meaning a small thing in oc (low Leon dialect original expression) of the suffix, and the place name of this resort meant the place where originally seaweed decays and collected."
The same writer insists that I include the association of the language of several thousand only during Wales and Finistere.
Wrecked ship
A person settles down in the place of ブリニョガン from the Old Stone Age. The village which it produced has the trace that it spoke earlier, but it is from the 18th century and the 19th century afterwards that a name of Brignaugan is found us.
The village in accord with primitive parish Plounéour-Trez of アルモリカ was land put the port since the Middle Ages after the golden age in the Middle Ages. The port of Pontusval was the main intersection road that wine, wheat, meat, the product such as the slate stone came and went. Re sulked, and such article was transported to the trade fair of station wagon and グルヴェン. The cereals trade was mainly watched in the customs. A stone building of Beg ar Scaf cape and coat タンギ showed the existence of the customs. I took time, and the parish of ブリニョガン separated Plounéour-Trez parish and was born. The origin of the name is to have been in the place where the village among other villages is of high altitudes (current village office open space). A central village spread and became the commune which finally contained other villages.
ブリニョガン was located in the center of the パガン district, the レジャンド Coast (Côte des Légendes) and was famous for the accident of the ship.
When the people who lived on family that derives only part of its income from farming half fishing were very poor, and the ship with the freight was left for the sea spray around the reef of this violent shore, freight disappeared in several hours. The people of the パガン district tie a torch to the horn of the ox to plunder the wrecked ship, and it is said that I imitated the shaking light which guides a ship to the port. In addition, it is said that they turned on a church and the chapel on the cliff to lure a ship.
In these gulfs, there were innumerable a rock and reefs, and possibility was able to surely do the freight of the wrecked ship launched in the law (fr) of the Anshan レジーム era in the sandy beach to a possession walking. Such act was prohibited in 1681 by Colbert.
A crew room of the Coast Guard was installed in the shore afterwards. The crew room of the メネアム village in KEL Rouen was built by the center of the huge rock on the hill. The construction of the lighthouse was decided to finally avoid the sinking of ship. The Pontusval Lighthouse shows a door contained in the gulf of ブリニョガン, and many ships pass. The lighthouse built in 1869 is made of granite. The height is 18m, and the arriving range of the light is 10 miles.
There was a lookout post of the Coast Guard in the Cape ベグ Poll once. There are 52 steps of stairs until it arrives at the top.
It was ship la Briere of 80m in total length in 1930 that a ship ran aground last and ran aground in a gulf.
