The block where the Shindo sinus (Shin Dan Don) is located in the eastern part of Republic of Korea Seoul Special City Naka-ku. It is near to the Higashidaimon market and is famous in "Shindo sinus トッポッキ".

Name

 

An administrative sinus (as for the name before the changing of a name of July, 2013) of Naka-ku. There were six administrative sinuses which named "Shindo" in the eastern part of the ward.

The antral name depends on having called it with "Shentang" because much common sorcery and others gather around "Shentang" outside the light Hiro gate and formed a maiden in the service of a shrine village. In the case of 甲午改革, I am told that pronunciation changed in same Shindo.

Geography

As for the Shindo sinus as the legal sinus, the Shindo sinus (1, Shindo sinus agrees with the name before July, 2013 as follows) as the administrative sinus, Chayama sinus (2, Shindo sinus), Kusurimizu sinus (3, Shindo sinus), a blue hill sinus (4, Shindo sinus), 5, Shindo sinus, the east sit astride a sinus (6, Shindo sinus).

History

It was naive and was Han town castle bottom ten village area and belonged to Koyo county Han turf side, the Shindo village in 1914 for Korea Era. I changed in Keijo prefecture Shindo-cho in 1936 and was admitted into Joto-ku in 1943. After having turned into current Shindo sinus in 1946, it became the Naka-ku jurisdiction in 1975.
