Hokkaido Shinkansen synthesis system
The Hokkaido Shinkansen synthesis system (ほっかいどうしんかんせんそうごう system, popular name CYGNUS (Cigna): Computer system for signal control and useful maintenance of Hokkaido Shinkansen) is a kind of train scheduling system of administration (PTC) performing the service management of the train or monitoring of the control equipment generally and is the computing system which Hokkaido Railway Co. (Hokkaido Railway) applies by the Hokkaido Shinkansen.

Summary
Development was pushed forward for the purpose of service management of the Hokkaido Shinkansen which started a business on March 26, 2016. Because the Hokkaido Shinkansen is a plan to perform the Tohoku Shinkansen and direct driving of East Japan Railway Co. (JR East), it is connected to the Shinkansen synthesis system (COSMOS) of the company.
