Hizume hall

The castle where Hizume hall (ratio nail building) (a hoof is for show or of the hoof) was located in Shiwa-cho, Shiwa-gun, Iwate of Japan.

Summary

　The ratio nail building is located in aza-Hakoshimizu, Hizume, Shiwa-cho, Shiwa-gun in 館址 of the twelfth century, and the scale is East-West 320m, the whole area including the site of flat land existing Akaishi Elementary School of north and south 290m. In the south side of the hall, the east contacts with National highway No. 4 close to Lake Goro. As a result of excavation, it is recognized that Mikata except the south with the marsh was surrounded in around 10m in width, Omizo about 1.5m in depth.

居館址 of 一族比爪太郎俊衡, 五郎季衡兄弟 of Oshu Fujiwara.

It is said that I continued from the early twelfth century to the latter half from the generation of exhumation remains.

In the case of dredging of the south Lake Goro to contact, an earthenware vessel (かわらけなど) and building materials of the twelfth century were excavated in (1926) in 1926, and it lasted for the 30th, and an investigation was performed until recently from 1965 by the Shiwacho Board of Education.
