History
- I am authorized as Hiroshima prefectural road 24 Matsunaga, Fuchu flight on October 10, 1960 by - Hiroshima notification 682nd. It was a general prefectural road in those days.
- With both - Fukuyama, Matsunaga cities merging equally on May 1, 1966, and Fukuyama-shi having been installed some other time, the place name notation of the terminal is changed (Matsunaga City Imazu-cho → Imazucho, Fukuyama-shi).
- A prefectural road number of - Hiroshima is revised with public road-labeled introduction on November 1, 1972 and becomes the Hiroshima prefectural road 158 Matsunaga, Fuchu Line.
- Ashidamachi, Ashina-gun that we had on April 1, 1974 along - is incorporated into Fukuyama-shi.
- I am authorized in the main country path on April 1, 1976 by - Ministry of Construction notification 694th and am changed to the current prefectural road number (considered not to become clear because notification is not accomplished at the number change time, but to be about the end of 1976).
Route situation
- The shortest and important route which links Fuchu-shi to the western part of Fukuyama-shi. Most were the steep roads of the 1-1.5 traffic lane, but were reborn once on the comfortable way of the top and bottom 2 traffic lane except Kurigaracho, Fuchu-shi, Ougibashi Minamizume intersection and to the north. I am to be improved by existing way widening and new Ougibashi (going to be built in the immediate down stream of current Ougibashi) construction about non-improved part.
- It is what is not known at all, but the old and the new Hiroshima prefectural road 158 will give you an important post at the Haradachoobara, Onomichi-shi - Hongocho, Fukuyama-shi interval after (1996) in 1996 when Hiroshima prefectural road 158 tail Doshin City line was authorized. Such an example is rare (so that National highway No. 53 [old second grade National highway No. 179 Okayama Tottori Line] and an important post of National highway No. 179 are seen in Tsuyama city area on the national highway).
