Origin, person
I receive third place nomination from Pacific club Lions in NPB draft meeting in 1974, and it is joined by the Nanyo technical high school. I compete for the seat of Tomoyoshi Oishi and the original catcher in 1980 and put on a starting mask for 56 games in the same year. I am used together with Oishi in the next year, but Masahiro Kuroda transfers in 1982 and joins it, and a participation opportunity decreases.
I transfer to Yokohama ocean Whales by an exchange trade with Koetsu Shimizu just before the start in 1983. I am appointed as a pinch hitter, an outfielder, a first baseman here. It is only for 1987 and is dismissed from it.
I played as Soong ability Expo of the real name from 1988 through 1991 in alumnus Bears (from 1988 to 1990) and Pacific Dolphins (1991) of KBO. After a retirement, I act as a coach, farm team supervision in 斗山 Bears which is the reincarnation of the alumnus from 1992.
There was the active play era at the time expected as catcher of the heavy blow including [2] that I hit 6 home runs in earlier period of 1980 (as for the season total 8 home runs) and was called "Tabuchi Nisei". On the other hand, the defense was low. A shoulder in particular was weak and made a worst record of 32 consecutive steal check failure in 1981.
The achievement that rebuilt 斗山打線 in 2001 when I acted as a hitting coach, and contributed to a play-off, the series conquest in Korea was evaluated, and I was picked to an excellence coach prize in the professional baseball grand prix of KBO [3]. In addition, for a Japanese professional baseball (NPB) person, I became the first prize winner [3].
