リヒテンフェルス (Lichtenfels) is a city belonging to the State of Federal Republic of Germany Hesse ヴァルデック = flanken Berg county.

Geography
リヒテンフェルス is located in the foot of Lothair Mountains of southwest approximately 53km (distance in a straight line) of Cassell and hits the west end of the Lake A da located southwest of ヴァルデッカー Lunt. In the west, メーデバッハ basin, the south contact with ブライテ シュトルト. In the northeast, the east faces the valley of the A da river the valley of the イッター river, and ケラーヴァルト rises in the rear. The south contacts with the valley of the ヌーネ river.
オルケ river and ヴィルデ アー river (are river) flow through the city limits dotted with villages. The area is approximately 100 km2, and リヒテンフェルス where the forest occupies nearly 40% is one of the cities, towns and villages which a forest is the largest in a county, and are deep.

With administrative reform of the State of Hesse, two cities merged with 6 municipalities which became independent till then in 1971 and formed the new local government based on the name of リヒテンフェルス. It is ダルヴィクスタール, フュルステンベルク, ゴッデルスハイム, インミヒハウゼン, ラーデルン, ノイキルヒェン, Minden, Sachsen Berg.

Annual function
In the フュルステンベルク district, E gel fest (hedgehog festival) is held every year. This memorialized that one hedgehog relieved a life of Hesse landgrave Heinrich 鉄人伯 in the Middle Ages. Landgrave was doing hunting, and a hedgehog appeared on the way, and the landgrave had to stop a horse in a hurry. However, I was going to fall from the steep slope of there if I did not stop a horse here.
