カズングラ ferry
The transportation by water supplier that the カズングラ ferry (Kazungula Ferry) navigates the Zambezi flowing between Zambia and Botswana. At two lighters with carrying capacity of 70t, it navigates it between Zambia territory カズングラ and Botswana territory カズングラ [1].
I connect it to a road (I am connected to the trans = Capri bihighway in カティマ ムリロ and reach Walvis Bay) linking セシュケ of the western state from state capital Livingstone of the southern state and the expressway which runs through Botswana via Francistown and Gaborone, and reaches the Republic of South Africa. Similarly, I am connected to the roads from カサネ to Victoria falls of Zimbabwe. In other words, I contribute to the road traffic of three countries which added Zimbabwe to Zambia, Botswana and bring Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia, three countries of the Republic of South Africa influence indirectly more [2]. It becomes the course toward copper ore mountain zone and Lusaka from the Republic of South Africa, Zambia and is shortened several hundred kilos than Zimbabwean way.
In 2003, a Zambian truck overthrew one of the lighters by excessive overloading, and 18 were sacrificed. It was criticized by this accident that I lacked in the weighbridge which measured the vehicle weight of the truck on a Zambian side [3].
Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswanan four countries contact in this area, but, in the operational top, a form to tie two three borders to at a borderline of approximately 150m between Zambia and Botswana and an agreement to do are done. Therefore, the passenger can enter other two countries. Because a river channel changed consistently, in in front of, the legal position for the border of four countries was more inarticulate than 2000 when this agreement was accomplished [4]; [5]. In this 150m border, a mention is confirmed for African development funds [6].
In August, 2007, the construction of the カズングラ bridge reached an agreement between Zambia and the government of Botswanan two countries, and, as for the カズングラ ferry, it was in this way expected that it was replaced [7]. By this plan, the entry to Zimbabwe and the Namibian two countries is excluded.
