The AGM-87 focus (British: Focus) is an air-to-ground missile developed based on an AIM-9 sidewinder air-to-air missile.

Summary

With the air-to-ground missile which navy weapon center (NWC) developed based on AIM-9B sidewinder air-to-air missile in 1967, the appearance is the same as AIM-9B.

In the Vietnam War, Skyhawk Skyhawk, A-6 intruder, A-7 Corsair II, F-8 crusader, F-4 Phantom II used it for a vehicle or a ship from 1968 through 1970. However, because it was a small warhead, I lacked in power, and it was substituted by other weapons and retired in the early 1970s.
