Kunihisa Utagawa (the second generation)

An ukiyoe artist that I cross Kunihisa Utagawa (にだいめうたがわくにひさ, Tenpo era three years <1,832 age 〉 - 1891 <1,891 >2 a year five days a month) in the Meiji era from last years of Edo era for the second generation.

Origin

A disciple of third generation Toyokuni Utagawa. As for the family name, Katsuta, the name are 久太郎. I claim 一陽斎, 一雲斎, 立蝶楼. I marry third daughter Sakae of the Toyokuni cherry blossom for the third generation and become the adopted child of the Toyokuni cherry blossom. In addition, I am said to have married 勝 of the second daughter for another view [¹]. I drew Meiji にかけてで 横浜絵, a picture of a kabuki actor and a handwriting ukiyoe print from Kaei for the drawing period. I collaborate with the Toyokuni cherry blossom of the teacher in the series of "the eastern capital 36 view". Age at death 60. In the cemetery, Komyo-ji Temple, the Buddhist name of Kameido, Koto-ku are 久豊院還国寿僊信士. As for Kintaro of the eldest son, Toyonobu Utagawa, silver Jiro of the second son become an ukiyoe artist under the pretense of Utagawa country peak.
