Ichigo Sugawara (すがわらいちごう, 1960 -) is a Japanese photographer. KanagawaKamakura-shiA native place.

Summary

The photographer who made the debut with French "ELLE", and dealt with many advertisement photographs. A work is chosen as the permanent collection of national library of France in 2004. By a private exhibition held much, it is announcement in the mysterious, fantastic series that assumed a waterfall and a landscape a motif. In addition, as well as the field of the advertisement photograph including tote bag "PHOTOTE" and the BEAMS-T shirt production for the camera with the triple name called "BEAMS X PORTER X ICHIGO SUGAWARA", I develop the activity that ran through a genre. The movie "blue fish" which served a director of photography was shown as an official invitation work by Berlin International Film Festival in 1996. I publish collection of photographs "red flower" and "blue fish" (together representation studio company) two at the same time in 1997. 透徹 for the color is the eye that I did as a photographer and opens up an original expression domain. I hold a Made in the Shade exhibition in Pace MacGill Gallery of New York in 2005. In late years I study a wet plate photograph as a method to shoot an impression to be dazzling of the light in a photograph by oneself and put the classic technique of the photograph and the digital technique called the ink-jet print together and create unprecedented new photographs. I am invited as an Asian representative photographer at the Singaporean photograph moon interval formally in May, 2006 and hold "The Bright Forest" exhibition. It becomes the big topic as new photograph expression. I start "Made in the Shade" exhibition in June, 2006 in Gallery21 of Tokyo. In addition, is "almost publishing "come to like a photograph more" serially in daily publication Itoi newspaper" now; (every Friday update).


In 2005, I deal with OP, ED of the animated cartoon "Rev. insect" in response to a production request from Manager Nagahama.
