Urushitani county (チルゴク ぐん) is a county in the southwestern part of Republic of Korea Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is next to Daegu Metropolitan City, and agriculture in suburban areas and the stock-raising industry are run on the plains of 洛東江両岸, and becoming it goes ahead through the bedroom town to go to work to Daegu Metropolitan City, Kameo City. In addition, there are many a fiber factory and electronic parts factories, and it is with the inland physical distribution base which kept an expressway alive to contact with Taegu city with much fiber business and the prosperous Kameo city of the electronics industry.
The center is 倭館邑. 漆谷邑 which the name of the county was derived from is incorporated into Daegu Metropolitan City Kita-ku now.
It became the site of a hard-fought battle of the fight of the Pusan foothold for an attack of the summer of 1950 by the Korean War. The Japan hall was an important area of 洛東江防御線 and became the front which Northern forces and the United Nations forces scrambled. In many Tomisato of the Mt. shelf side, a fierce battle called fight (many wealth antral fight) of the bowling alley was performed in the valley which the mountain path which followed went along from the north Ando area to Taegu.
