A Saint fortune temple (prostitute lottery) is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshin-ji Temple group in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka. It is famous for the Sakae west foundation as a first Japanese full-scale temple belonging to the Zen sect. The precincts are appointed on the historic spot of the country, and there are the main gate of a Buddhist temple or a Buddhist sanctum. The mountain Mt. cheap country (as for the popular name a cheap mountain).

History

The Sakae west of the Japanese Rinzai sect initiator founded a temple to 100 temple traces of Hakata that Soong person erected after returning home than south Soong quickly in (1195) for Kenkyu era six years. This is a first Japanese full-scale temple belonging to the Zen sect and is a Zen Buddhist seminary. The sum of "the Fuso's first Zen cave" given in the Motohisa first year by (1204), the Emperor Gotoba depends on the main gate of a Buddhist temple.

In addition, it becomes the Myoshin-ji Temple group now and, by a life of Nagamasa Kuroda, continues. In the Muromachi era, it is a famous temple with a venerable history counted among 五山十刹.

For the culture, the civil administration period of the Edo era, famous 仙厓義梵 acted as the chief priest of this temple with a Zen image and gave the popularity of this temple among writers.
