The town of a population of more than 20,000 people that Osawa Nomachi (おおさわのまち) was located in the southern part of Toyama.
By "a great merger of the Heisei," I was complicated (former) with Toyama area 6 cities, towns and villages of Toyama-shi, Daisen-cho, Fuchuumachi, eight towns, Yamadamura, Hosoirimura on April 1, 2005, and it was a part of founded Toyama-shi.

History
- Osawa, Kaminiikawa-gun Nomura, Okubo-mura, lower タ village (the irregularity that I did), 船峅村 (ふなくらむら) are established with - municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889.
- It is December 1 (1913) for 1,913 years: Okubo-mura, Kaminiikawa-gun enforces town organization and becomes Okubo-cho.
- It is April 1 (1939) for 1,939 years: Osawa, Kaminiikawa-gun Nomura enforces town organization and becomes Osawa Nomachi.
- It is December 1 (1953) for 1,953 years: Osawa Nomachi admits some Nei-gun Kurose Tanimura. The residue merges with other municipalities and founds Yao-cho.
- It is April 1 (1954) for 1,954 years: Nomachi, Osawa, Kaminiikawa-gun, lower タ village, 船峅村 founds it and merges and becomes Osawa Nomachi.
- It is December 10 (1954) for 1,954 years: Osawa Nomachi incorporates Okubo-cho.
- It is April 1 (2005) for 2,005 years: I found it and merge with Toyama-shi, Daisen-cho, Kaminiikawa-gun, Fuchuumachi, Nei-gun, Yao-cho, Hosoire-mura, Yamadamura (former), and it is in new Toyama-shi.
