Oh, it is Shirato

Oh, it is Shirato

Oh, it is Shirato

Oh, Shirato (a goddess of west Asia where aṯrt [' āṯiratu] アシェラト) comes up in ウガリット myths. I am considered to be the Queen of the gods who were admired widely in Syria, Palestine [1].

Summary

Originally it was the spouse of the child circle toe (アムル) of King Ann of heavens in Sumerian and was assumed Itaru God of the high rank.

It is a wife of most Takagami yl in ウガリット and is considered to be the Mother of the Gods. Oh, it is really shown that she lives by the sea in a myth by the abbreviated designation of the lady (rbt aṯrt ym [rabbatu' āṯiratu yamma]) going the sea with Shirato.

A different name includes the biological parent (when I translate qnyt ilm [qāniyatu' ilīma] literally "the Demiurge of gods") of gods. Again イラト (is called ilt [' ilatu]), but this is originally woman form of "yl" for a common noun the meaning of "the goddess". However, as words for アーシラト as the goddess in the goddess, I am used for a proper noun. In addition, the name this イラト shares the name and the etymology of Arabian goddess アッラート.

I appear in the Old Testament as idol God of the paganism and appear in the name of the Hebrew forms of words asherim (אֲשֵׁרָה[' Ăšērāh]). I was worshiped as a goddess of the abundant harvest in Cannan. Hebrews regarded this goddess with hostility at first (Exodus Chapter 34 Section 13), but they began to worship oneself when they settled in Canaan (Book of Judges Chapter 3 Section 7 others) and worshiped you in Cannan-type bethel called the sacred hill.

アーシラト where only one was not invited to for the banquet which a ケレト king put up at a wedding ceremony with the princess full rear of ウドム bears a grudge against this and requires a votive offering to oneself for the full rear. Still I sent famine into his country with ケレト as a disease without being satisfied.

The evergreen which she dropped a branch in the forest area and straightened was enshrined as a spirit-dwelling object. This is based on the evergreen faith as the symbol of the vitality. In addition, I was as a spirit-dwelling object with a stake instead in the wastelands where the tree did not grow.
