Summary

The plasma television of the pioneer was sold by the name of "PURE VISION" (pure vision), but "PURE VISION" was abolished with an appearance of this "KURO" until now.

Not only it was equipped with the plasma panel which emphasized black color development, but also, according to the name, the best part did the plasma television of other companies because the appearance adopted the thing which gave off luster called "piano black", but a price had been more expensive than one of conventional "PURE VISION" and other companies, and sales were sluggish and peaked when the second generation model was released. I suddenly stretched out sales by rush demand, and a product was made that a plan in the original end of March was postponed until the end of July at production end time because a store out of stock occurred among them afterwards by complete evacuation having been announced a pioneer in 2009 by the production sale of the plasma television.

In 2008 when the second generation was released, it was a plan to start the co-operation business in the plasma television by the management aggravation of the pioneer between Panasonic which was rival relations in the business, but, as for the pioneer, plan in itself was canceled by the withdrawal from a plasma television afterwards by having appeared to the management rebuilding under Sharp. In the model after the tenth generation of sold VIERA, the technique that should have been used for the third generation KURO is adopted now.

The LCD television was released in Europe, too. This panel was the same as a thing used for AQUOS, but this became the first last model by withdrawal of the plasma television business, too.
