Kiyoshi Goko

Kiyoshi Goko (ごうこきよし, from November 13, 1882 to April 28, 1961) is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries's president, an advisor at Tojiyo Cabinet in the Pacific War. I was arrested as a Class-A war criminal after the war and was made a purge from public service.

Career

I was born as Goko ball Saburo who was a local school teacher, the eldest son of saying in Mizusawacho, Isawa-gun, Iwate (via Mizusawa-shi existing Oshu-shi) Fudancho. The clan doctor that the ancestors served the away family which was a school of Sendai feudal clan Date. Through Morioka Junior High School (Koshiro Oikawa, Kodo Nomura and others and the same class), the first high school (Tokyo University college of liberal arts), Tokyo Imperial University law university law department, it is entered the company in August, 1908 by the Mitsubishi joint-stock company. I take office as the president of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1941. In 1943, I become an advisor at cabinet of Hideki Tojiyo, but because I decided it without talking with commander-in-chief Koyata Iwasaki of Mitsubishi, I make it angry, and the president is dismissed saying that I broke a tradition of without "the Mitsubishi person participating in politics" and gets out to the chairperson of the leisurely post. I was gradually pushed up with the progress of the situation by the strategic leader of the war regime and acted as a production of administration support society expansion chairperson, and it was advisor Ministry of Supply just before the defeat. I got punishments such as purges from public service after the source. In 1951, I became the chairperson of residence in Tokyo Iwate promotion association after exile cancellation and returned to the financial world, and it was the opinion turn of the financial world.
