John Boyd Dunlop (John Boyd Dunlop, from February 5, 1840 to October 23, 1921) is a Scottish inventor. He established Dunlop rubber Co., Ltd.
Dunlop was created as a son of the farmhouses in ドレグホーン of the north air Shah. After his graduating from Edinburgh veterinary school (some current Edinburgh University), and having worked as a veterinarian in Edinburgh between nearly ten years, I move to Belfast. The trip of the carriage to Ireland was unpleasantness with the wheels of the wooden and solid rubber. Dunlop experimented on the tube-type tire of the pneumaticity by the tricycle of the son. He acquired the patent of the pneumaticity tire in 1887, but similar patent was applied for in 1845 by another Scot, Robert Williams Thompson (English: Robert William Thomson).
He developed the world's first practical pneumaticity tire in the next year. His invention served as big contribution for transport. He established Dunlop rubber Co., Ltd., but will fight by a legal battle with Thompson. Dunlop did not obtain such a profit from own invention. In spite of invention of 1845 of Thompson, modern rubber tire invention is praised Dunlop (there is the document which Thompson assumes an inventor).
Dunlop died in Dublin in 1921. For 2,005 years, it is with the car palace.
