Japanese Christ religious community Okayama church (にほんきりすときょうだんおかやまきょうかい) is Japanese Christ religious community position church of old association in Kita-ku, Okayama-shi, Okayama origin.

History
Propagator W tailor of the American Board stayed through the good offices of medical attendant Nakagawa side Taro of the Okayama hygiene administration for one week in (1875) in 1875 and performed a medical service. Propagators of the American Board visited Okayama with student Tsurin Kanamori, 横山円造 of Doshisha, Hiromichi Kozaki and others in (1877) in 1877. Several places in Okayama-shi were able to have a meeting in a support of Nakagawa side Taro. It was decided to put a mission station of the American Board in Okayama concerning Nakagawa side Taro with アッキンソン propagator (1878) in autumn in 1878.
And the American Board dispatched specialist in propagation J C berry married couple, J H petticoat married couple, an O Kay re-married couple, J Wilson and others to the founded Okayama station (1879) in January in 1879. I made a contract for 5 years with cause, Okayama of the welcome of Okayama prefectural government order Goroku Takasaki and performed medical care and an instructional activity. Tsurin Kanamori who graduated from Doshisha in the same year started for its new post in Okayama. The Kanamori and others continued working on missionary work while cooperating with the propagator of the Okayama station, and the ceremony of establishment of the Okayama church was performed (1880) in October in 1880 by 33 members. Tsurin Kanamori took office as the first clergyman. Around this Okayama church, Takahashi church, Kasaoka church, Amagi church, Ochiai church were established.
The Okayama church was 445 memberships in (1887) in 1887 and came to have the membership that there was many it most in 45 churches of the Japanese association Christ church. A lot of salaried person and students were financial, and the member of the Okayama church was a rich church next to Kobe church, the Akashi church.
