いんのしま pension foamy fall mountain cottage (いんのしま pension しらたきさんそう) is the accommodation in Innoshima of Onomichi-shi, Hiroshima (former Innoshima-shi).

Summary
A European-style building pension [1] which is located in the Mt. foamy fall starting point of a mountain climb in northern Innoshima. A staying room is a Western-style room, and the meal becomes the Japanese food. The use only for meals is possible, too (require reservation). One room single in the guest room, twin four. As for the check-in, check-out is 10:00 a.m. at 3:00 p.m.
The building is "Farnham residence" of the residences (mission house) which William メレル ヴォーリズ designed for Baptist group mer Ren Farnham (Marlin D. Farnum) propagator in about 1931 [1]; [2]. Hitachi Zosen used it after the war as a guest house, but the shipbuilding recession was combined, too, and it was becoming untended, and a current pension owner opened it in purchase 1987 [2]. In 1999, I enroll in the registration tangible cultural property of the country [1].

The design is W,M, ヴォーリズ. Building area 105m2 [1]. It features a red sash on cloth of white background [4].
Steel reinforced concrete construction, a 2.3 floor are wooden, and the first floor is built on the slope ground [1]. The entrance hall is on the second floor, and, in a main floor, in the first floor, so-called groundfloor, a the third-floor roof room become the guest room [4]. Each has a fireplace with wall [4]. As for the whole, in the roof, the entrance rotation with the dormer window is colored with a brick by the tile-roofing of the steep slope with a half-timber style [1]; [5]. A color is dark and leaves a style of the ヴォーリズ architecture [1].
