A newspaper reporter (reporter) that Sir Edwin Arnold (Sir Edwin Arnold, from June 10, 1832 to March 24, 1904) is from the U.K., an account of a trip writer, an essayist, an Orientalist, a Japanologist, a scholar of Buddhism, a poet. I am conferred a knight (KCIE, CSI) at the time of U.K. territory Indian Empire establishment. I am considered to be the best Buddhism researcher, Orientalist in the Victoria dynasty.

Brief career history

I am born in English Kent グレーヴズエンド as the second son of Robert Coles Arnold. The one who is brother in six brothers is Edwin Leicester Arnold of the novelist.

Via Kings college London, I advance to Oxford University. I win the championship at contest "Newdigate prize" (Newdigate Prize) of the poetry of Oxford in 1852. After graduation, I become the principal of King Edward's School (KES) of Birmingham. I was invited to the Sanskrit university founded through the good offices of East India Company in 1856 by India, Pune and acted as the principal for seven years. I meet with the Sepoy Mutiny during a stay. I want to want to devote itself to a study of the mystery thought, and Arnold visits Buddh Gaya and studies a Buddhism sculpture.
