The original notation of "西朗" is "west 塱". However, pronunciation substitutes it in same kanji "朗" because "塱" is not recorded in the character code of the computer when I build our station (I read in long5 and a reading, Chinese by Cantonese with lǎng). "塱" was added to a character code later.
