Father acted as member of the Shogun's Council of Elders, Shogunate forces Choshu subjugation assistance in the second Choshu conquest of (1866) in 1866, but because I saw the war situation disadvantage of the Shogunate forces and released the senior retainer of the Choshu feudal clan dogmatically and did it, I was sentenced to forced retired person disposal by a command of the shogunate on October 29, and 宗武 inherited birthright.
I did allegiance, and the Miyazu feudal clan was ordered the guard of Yamashiro Yawata by the new government by the Boshin War of (1868) in 1868, but was done with a rebel against the Imperial government because the military unit which went to the front of the Yawata guard fired it at the new government troop. The Miyazu feudal clan soldier who did 在洛 was disarmed, and 宗武 in this way got a punishment of 入洛禁止 on January 10. On January 23, the chief vassal of the hometown surrenders to 山陰鎮撫使 leading Kinmochi Saionji. On February 11, the chief vassal offers the new government troop participation of the younger brother of 宗武. Father Soshu visited the capital on February 24 and offered apology and a retired person of 宗武, but the re-inheritance of retired person and Soshu of 宗武 was not accepted. In addition, I offer the seppuku of two chief vassals as a person in charge of the fights of Toba, Fushimi, but I am spared the life for success and exchange of the Choshu senior retainer release of Soshu at the time of the Choshu conquest by the proposal from the Choshu feudal clan. I visited the capital on April 29, and, on May 23, confinement to the house was solved. On September 1, I contribute 20,000 cars to the new government.
I was appointed Governor of Miyazu feudal clan (1869) on June 19 in 1869 by return of the land and people from the feudal lords to the Emperor, and 知藩事職 was dismissed by establishment of prefectures in place of feudal domains of July 15 (1871) in 1871. I engaged in agriculture reclamation of Hokkaido as a Bureau of Development from (1873) in 1873.
I took office as (1875), 教部省大講義 and a basket Shinto shrine chief priest in 1875. I help the "sky Bridge school organized by contributions" establishment by former Miyazu clansman, Shinsuke Komuro and others these days.
