I was provided through "PlayOnline" of Square Enix. PlayStation BB Unit was required in a play. Because I exchanged data with a client by P2P communication only between a server between users, I distributed an inspection tool to confirm whether a play was possible in an official site.

It was the simultaneous play to up to 24 at first, but increased to 32.

Story

Single player mode

Deep ground soldier

The popular name DG soldier, DGS (abbreviation of Deepground SOLDIER). It is commonly called as the DG in a meaning made at a deep ground. Term

Genoa war: It is a big war happened in the scenario latter half in "FFVII" three years of "DC FFVII" ago. セフィロス was the beginning and took place, and "star" [⁴] fell into the critical situation that might be destroyed, but clouds prevented it. With this war, they are called "the hero of the Genoa war".
メテオ disaster: The great disaster that occurred just after Genoa war. The mid gal that a large-scale heavy storm occurs by the life stream which began to blow to help a crash and the Chinese holly of the white magic "Chinese holly" saving black magic "メテオ" and a star destroying a star, and was located within easy reach of the crash is collapse. Other towns and land to be naive in カーム caught the crushing blow.
Chaos (Chaos): "The weapon which is laid than the settlement of the life" which appears when a star reaches the end. I harvest the life of the star and am existence to lead the life to the omega. The chaos of Vincent was the existence that was the same as this and stayed with エンシェントマテリア to save Vincent that ルクレツィア ever fell into a critical condition state by an experiment.
Omega (Omega): "The weapon which is laid than a clean life" which appears when a star reaches the end. An ark of the life to lead a life to collect all lives of the star reaching the end, and to leave for the space from the end to the opening. I do not awake until the end of the mule star comes, but I let the DG gathers pure life streams and reproduce "the end of the star" artificially and am going to originally bring back omega.
エンシェントマテリア: マテリア necessary for Vincent to control oneself. グリモア and ルクレツィア discovered it in a spring of the chaos and have an antimatter-like property unlike normal マテリア. 命を刈り取るカオスの出現は星の終焉にも繋がるため、星がカオスを覚醒させないために生み出したと推測されている。オメガを制御する効果もあり、ヴィンセントはこれを体内に埋め込まれているためにDGから狙われることになる。
ケルベロス: ヴィンセントのダブルアクション式拳銃。銃身部分にケルベロスの装飾が施され、グリップにはケルベロスレリーフが取り付けられ、1回の発砲で3発撃たれる。
シャドウフォックス: WROが使用するトラック。緊急用に機銃が装備されている。
センシティブ・ネット・ダイブ: 通称「SND」。シェルクが使える特殊能力。意識だけをネット上に飛び込ませ、現実と同じように行動することができる。他人の精神への干渉や幻影を見せる事も可能だが、他者と自身双方にリスクが伴うために多用はできない。シェルクはこの能力を使ってルクレツィアの断片を体内に吸収する。ヴァイスもこの能力を持っており、そのために宝条の断片データがヴァイスに取り付くことになった。シェルクとヴァイスの能力差はあまりない。
断片化: 自分の思考や人格などを分割してデータ化し、ネット上に流す行為。この断片が本人と意識を共有しているのか、それとも本人とは別の意識を持っているのかは不明。
カオスの泉: ルクレツィアとグリモアがエンシェントマテリアとカオスを発見した場所。ルクレツィアは現在、この泉の中央のマテリアの中で眠りについている。
ジュノン大量失踪事件: DGの襲撃事件が起きる以前にジュノンで起きた事件。WROの情報操作によって一般的には数十人が同時に行方不明になったとされるが、実際は1200人もの人間が失踪した。この住民達はDGによって誘拐されオメガ復活のためにライフストリームへと還される。
カーム: ミッドガルの近郊にある街。メテオ災害の際に大半が破壊されたが再建され、物語の冒頭では街の復興を祝う「復興祭」が行われる。ヴィンセントはここの宿でリーブと待ち合わせをしていた。
