The Shimizu-shi Police

Municipal police of Shimizu-shi, Shizuoka (existing Shizuoka-shi) where the Shimizu-shi Police (しみずしけいさつ) ever existed.

Summary

A conventional Shizuoka police part was dismantled, and Shimizu-shi police station was established (1948) on March 7 in 1948.

New Police Act was promulgated in (1954) in 1954. Local police under state control and municipal police are abolished, and the Shizuoka Police headquarters in this way starts newly as the metropolis and districts Police. The Shimizu-shi Police were unified by the Shizuoka Police, too and disappeared.
