Shuichi Nagaoka (ながおかしゅういち, 1876 (1876) from September 17 to 1952 (1952) November 22) is a Japanese judoist. Prime around ten steps were granted in history as the third generation and were called "genius Nagaoka". After having devoted itself to development of the judo in Kansai in Oya of the wide becoming a Buddhist priest, I was invited to the Jigoro Kanou instructor in May, 1913, and it was "scheme way building" instructor, "Tokyo higher normal school" professor and "the Metropolitan Police Department" served as the judo instructor of "Chuo University" and made it for development of the judo afterwards. Nagaoka is honored as one of 19 chosen from the deceased that spread of judo development included the particularly remarkable achievement in the scheme way building judo palace. [2]
