Ogushigo Station (おぐしごうえき) is a Kyushu Railway Co. (Kyushu Railway Company) Omura Line station in Ogushigo, Kawatana-cho, Higashisonogi-gun, Nagasaki.

A station having simple system home one 1 line above the ground. I have a small station building on the right side towards a downhill side.

History

• It is October 21 - opening of business (1944) for 1,944 years.
• I move to - present location (1948) on April 1 in 1948.
• I am rebuilt with a burden of - Kawatana-cho (1985) on April 1 in 1985 by the existing station building.
• It becomes the Kyushu Railway Co. (Kyushu Railway Company) station by - Japanese National Railways division and privatization (1987) on April 1 in 1987.

I established the station by the Great Japanese Empire navy having installed a torpedo boat training school in the Kogushi Port to plan the convenience of the trainee. The beginning of establishment was a training facility of the pure torpedo boat crew, but I was switched to training facilities of suicide attack boat "震洋" later, and most of 震洋隊員 used Ogushigo Station.

I was going to make a station name "Kogushi" (おぐし) at first, but was considered to be "Ogushigo" because there was already Kogushi Station (and "I row" the reading) to San'in Main Line.

Because a torpedo boat training school is abolished with the end of the war, and a reason of the station setting disappeared, a policy of the abolition was selected as 1947, but there are abolition withdrawal and the process that it was because a local side strongly demanded the continuation. ^[1]
