Malonyl CoA reductase (the malonate semi-aldehyde formation) (malonyl CoA reductase (malonate semialdehyde-forming)) is an oxidation-reduction enzyme catalyzing the next chemical reaction.

Malonate semi-aldehyde + CoA + NADP+ Malonyl CoA + NADPH + H+

According to the equation, as for the substrate of this enzyme, malonate semi-aldehyde and CoA and NADP+, product are malonyl CoA and NADPH and H+.

As for the organization name, another name has NADP-dependent malonyl CoA reductase, malonyl CoA reductase (NADP) in malonate semialdehyde:NADP+ oxidoreductase (malonate semialdehyde-forming).
