"A hot wind" The live album that rock band of the United States of America, Allman Brothers band announced (an original title: Wipe the Windows, Check the Oil, Dollar Gas) in 1976. Live recording from December 31, 1972 to October 24, 1975 was recorded, and two pieces of original LPs were released in a group [¹].

Background

Because motor scooter Herring that was a road manager of Greg Allman was prosecuted for the cocaine illicit sale charge in 1976, and Allman testified against Herring, Dickeys ベッツ, Jay ジョハンソン, ブッチ trucks considered Allman to be "the guy who sold a friend" and withdrew from Allman Brothers band [³]. The band was dissolved taking advantage of it, and Allman turned for solo activity, but Capricorn Records of the position label required the new work of the Allman Brothers band and reached the release of the collection of past live sound sources [³].

As for the music except "the recollection of the Elizabeth lead" that was recorded by recording after the Lamar Williams participation with the all songs in "Filmore East live" (1971), live recording was announced with this product for the first time [⁴]. The album title is quotation from the lyrics of the music "toe match monkey business" (English version) of Chuck Berry [⁵].

Reaction, evaluation

It ended in the 75th place in American Billboard 200, and it followed that I missed entering U.S. Top 40 for an album (except the compilation) after "idol Wilde south" (1970) for the first time [²].

Bruce Eder posts 3.5 points in five points of perfect scores in all music and describes it as it saying, "in particular, the music from "Brothers & sisters" and "Win, a loose or draw" is power of expression more than the original studio version and listens to the fan of the Allman Brothers band with an extremely solid live album and should not miss it" [⁶].
