Edward John Rae
Edward John Rae (Edward John Ray, October 9, 1944 -) is an economist of the United States of America. I took office as the Oregon State University thirteenth charges president on July 31, 2003 [1]. I acted as provost with an execution vice president before in Ohio State University for six years [2]. As of 2010, the amount of tax-included salary of the lei as the Oregon State University president is 414,377 U.S. dollars [3].
I worked as an economist from 1970 through 2003 in Ohio State University and acted as the chairman of the economic subject from 1976 through 1992. I acted as associate provost from May, 1992 to May, 1993 and acted as senior vice provost and chief information officer from 1993 through 1998. I took office as provost with an execution vice president (executive vice president) in 1998 and served until 2003.
The achievements of Ray have been announced with The American Economic Review, The Journal of Political Economy (), The Quarterly Journal of Economics (), many first-class learned journals including The Review of Economic Studies (). I wrote textbook "U.S. Protectionism and the World Debt Crisis" by a joint work, and it was published in 1989 by Quorum Press.
In June, 1966, I mastered mathematics in City University of New York Queens school and acquired a bachelor's degree and graduated at excellence (cum laude). I enter Stanford University and acquire economic master's degree afterwards in 1969. An economic doctorate was conferred in June, 1971 by Stanford University.
Wife Beth acted as Mr. chairman with a counselor in Ohio State University liberal arts. Three children need two grandchildren.
