Origin
After I was chosen in Miss New Orleans in 1931, I want to be a singer and move to Chicago and I sing in a band and come to appear to a radio. In 1935, I become the singer of the Harvey orchestra and step forward to New York.
I move to Hollywood in 1936, and I make Paramount movie and a contract [1], and a movie makes its debut as the leading role from a beginning. I came to appear for Bing Crosby, "the funny journey series" of the Bob Hope lead from 1940.
In the later years, I played an active part as a fashion commentator.
