CAdES
CAdES (CMS Advanced Electronic Signatures) is a meeting of the expansion to the digital signature of the CMS (code message sentence structure) form that I held to cope with high e-signature.

Explanation
The CMS signature is a general-purpose framework to perform a digital signature for a document including an E-mail or the PDF, but CAdES prescribes the detailed profile of the CMS signature to use it by the qualified e-signature (qualified electronic signature) in the meaning of EU e-signature order 1999/93/EC. Even if a used algorithm was broken, one important advantage of CAdES is to be able to continue being electronically effective a signed document in a long term.
Format
In CAdES, it prescribes six different formats of the offered protection level. The individual formats include the former and are expanded:
- Basic format to merely satisfy the European indicator about the CAdES, altitude signature (advanced signature)
- I add a thyme stamp to protect it for the denial of the CAdES-T (timestamp), signature act.
- CAdES-C (complete), off-line inspection future; add the reference information to inspection data to a signature document to be able to inspect it (such as a certificate or the Certificate Revocation List). (however, I do not save the real inspection information)
- I add a stamp for reference information introduced in CAdES-C in time to protect it from CAdES-X (extended), the possibility that a certificate of chains will become a crisis in the future.
- Even if an origin of distribution of CAdES-X-L (extended long-term), a certificate and the Certificate Revocation List was not available, I add certificate and list of lapses itself to a signature document to inspect it in the future.
- The crisis by a signature becoming weak adds a stamp to thyme for an archived document in order to avoid becoming it in periodical (e.g., every year) in a preservation period for CAdES-A (archival), long term.
