朱簡

朱簡 (しゅかん, 1570 -?) is a seal engraver of the last years of middle Kuniaki. The character is 修能, 畸臣. A person of Anhui Xiuning. I belong to the Xinan seal group.

Short biography

"The collection of old book of impressions of seals" which had been already published had a version and coming at the same time, and 朱簡 followed 陳継儒 because it became inferior and I visited a place of the stores of each place and all watched 原鈐 of the Old seal on foot and studied it. The fruition was published as "a seal product", but it is mentioned specially that I ascertained 古璽 before Hata Han for the first time here. I discuss a stippling theory with the のちの book, and a knowledge and opinion is high.

The stippling was a style full of the appeal that was not technical as a thing of self medicine baskets with appearance from the age of civil strife to the Yuan dynasty. I affect later 巴慰祖. Shusuke mechanic and 董洵 praise 朱簡 highly.
