スィグルダ (Sigulda) is a city of Latvia. The population 10,603 people (2005).
Geography
I am located at the coast of the gaue shop River and am approximately 50 kilos northeast from capital Riga. The neighboring areas are appointed in the gaue shop national park, and グートゥマニャ cave in the cities is the Latvia's greatest cave.
History
In 1207, a castle was built by リヴォニア Zone sword Knights Hospitalers. (the ceremony that memorialized foundation 800 years was held in 2007.) Alberto (Albert Suerbeer) of the Riga archbishop is arrested in 1268 by the Knights Hospitalers, and a record confined to the スィグルダ castle is left.
