A Walter Forst man (Walter Forstmann, from March 9, 1883 to September 2, 1973) is a German officer. I acted as the submarine U-boat captain in World War I and sank 146 ships, 384,304 tons. This is a war record next to Lothair phone Arnaud de la ペリエール of the U-boat captain in the same way, and this record is broken to nobody except phone Arnaud de la ペリエール up to the present.

I am from Essen ヴェルテン. I become the captain of U-39 in 1917. I sank the ship of allied powers 20,000 tons in Strait of Gibraltar only in two days. The Japanese ship is included in this, too. I sank the ship of allied powers in sequence afterwards in Italy. I wrote memoirs "Auf Jagd im Mittelmeer" after the war. I became a representative of デュイスブルク of the German Populist party from 1929 through 1933. From the Nazidom to Allied Forces occupation period after the defeat did the committee member of the house consumers' cooperative of the factory zone of the Ruhr from 1935 through 1950. I returned to military duties during World War II and acted as Commander navy of Osnabruck or Copenhagen. I am promoted to a captain (Kapitän zur See) in July, 1942. I retired from military duties with defeat.
