Shin-Dohigashi Station (しんどうひがしえき) is a Sapporo municipal subway Toho Line station at Higashi-ku, Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido Kitasanjuyonjo east 16. The station number is H02.

History

Origin of the station name

Because it is the Sapporo new road station located on the east side. The tentative name before the opening of business was "Sapporo new road Station" [1].

Station structure

It is the relative expression home of two 2 lines.

There are five places of doorways, but a lot of corners become the distorted structure from the wicket. A doorway and the fourth doorway are located within easy reach with an above ground part most (the fourth doorway is closed due to the security top at 22:30). The elevator to the ground is installed in the second doorway [2].

According to Sapporo-shi Traffic Bureau, the daily mean vehicle ridership of 2015 was 7,871 people.

Around station

There are many commercial facilities and restaurants of the suburbs model in the west along Sapporo new road. The east side and the north side form a residential area mainly, but in late years the commercial facilities increase, too. Because I am the nearest station, after the opening of the ion Motomachi, Sapporo shopping center, there is the flow to the south side, too.

Bus route

The route as of December 1, 2016. A bus shelter is added to the second doorway, but there are not the bus terminal facilities. A stop is installed in four places of outskirts. All the routes are Hokkaido Chuo Bus.
