Nichola Burman (Nicolaas Laurens Burman, from 1734 to 1793) is a Netherlands botanist.

Father was John Burman of the botanist in the same way, and Nikolaos worked in Amsterdam University and Amsterdam botanical garden following the next of father. He studied under curl phone Linnaeus in Uppsala University from 1760. I wrote many books such as Specimen botanicum de geraniis (1759) or Flora Indica (1768) completed later by Johan Gerhard ケーニヒ.

Burm.f. is used to show Nichola Burman when I show an author by the scientific name of the plant. (I search Author Details in /IPNI reading an author sketchy description.)
