Mt. Minoh (みのおやま, みのおのやま) is a mountain located in Minoh-shi, Osaka. I belong to 北摂山系. The popular name "mountains of Minoh."

Summary

Although there is it in the suburbs of Osaka-shi, it is a treasure house of nature having habitation such as most insects in the prefecture, many wild birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish. The low-rise building whole area of the mountain is a hill-related mountainous district, and the geological feature is almost paleozoic strata, but there is the place where granite and quartz diorite are exposed in a part. It is the west starting point of Tokai Long-Distance Footpath. There is Mino River dam in the upper part of the mountain. There is a driveway crowded with traffic jams every year and there are many Japanese monkeys and, beside the Mt. Minoh, inhabits. In late years damage to attack tourists increases, and the Japanese monkey of the natural monument becomes the problem.

In addition, the Mt. Minoh suburbs are included in Meijinomori-Mino Seminational Park.
