Table of contents

Origin

Tonic water was swallowed up as a healthy drink of British people who acted on the tropical colony, but after mixing it with gin, it was popular at all and spread out in the world after World War II. One of the current standard cocktail.

Standard recipe

Gin and tonic
  • Dry gin - appropriate amount
  • Tonic water - appropriate amount
  • A lime cut or slice

When you want to develop the flavor of the lime, you should use the lime juice. In addition, gin and the ratio of tonic water are around 1:3, but adjust it by preference.

In addition, the recipe mentioned above is one case of the thing seen in Japan, and the original gin and tonic points to the thing which broke gin in tonic water.

How to make

  1. I pour gin into the glass which I put ice in.
  2. I fill a glass with the tonic water which I cooled well, and Stare does it lightly.
  3. I give glory to lime slice.

Remarks

  • I become more outspoken when I put Ann Gosse chula bitters.
  • It is completed more deliciously when I make it without letting you foam if possible.

Variation

  • It becomes "the vodka tonic" when I make a base vodka.
  • It becomes "the tequila tonic" when I make a base tequila. In addition, the tequila tonic may be called "lever Nic" [3].
  • The base becomes "the fried dragon" if I change the tonic water to the ginger ale as gin [4].
