Dow Jones (Dow Jones & Company, Inc.) is the American economy-related publishing company, news agency which are an origin of publication of American economic paper "Wall Street Journal".

History
Establishment
It begins, and "Wall Street Journal" is launched in July, 1889 by what Charles Dow, Edward Jones, three people of the Charles Bergh stressor invest in 1882 and established in the proximity place of the New York Stock Exchange distributing a handwritten economic newsletter to the economic person concerned of the Wall Street by an opening at first.

Present
I am purchased in 2007 by News Corporation [1] and am a 100% subsidiary of "the Ruby Newco LLC" that is a subsidiary of News Corporation now.
After July, 2012 when News Corporation sold 90% of stocks of the index calculation business of Dow Jones to the Chicago mer perception tile exchange group in 2010 [2], the index calculation business of Dow Jones shifted to S&P Dow Jones index [3].
