Brief career history

I entered the House of Paris music and studied under excellent teacher candy D = Louis エティック, but I stopped studies during World War I and applied in the French military. I completed the House of music the other day although I got injured twice and stepped on a debut with the part of Albert of the opera [well Teru] of Massenet in the opera comics seat in 1919. I stayed in the opera comics seat for 3 seasons and was good at a duty such as the part of of [Manon] of [King of the chair] and Massenet of Lalo reply Coe and the part of Perea of [Pelleas et Melisande] which was the first successful part. Above all, I play the part of Perea many times in some countries through the 1930s.

While I am still registered at the House of Paris music, I meet pianist of director Gabriel Faure and alumnus at the time, madeleine Baillot (Magdeleine Baillot). I composed it from Faure in August, 1921 [it was over for a great success when L'horizon chimérique) was presented to, and パンゼラ of the new face gave the first public performance of this new work by nation philharmonic concert in those days on May 13, 1922, and パンゼラ fried the name, and not only I acted as an accompanist of パンゼラ for a life, but also, as for Baillot, it was the companion of the life, and death) grew in daughter クリスチアーヌ (2006 of Mr. and Mrs. パンゼラ, and it was an analyst, and husband Max Milner acted as a literature professor of the Sorbonne in well-known literary critics horizon (French of the fantasy.

The voice that was full of expressions warmly of パンゼラ which was born lyric poem baritone was fully shown in the exquisite world of the art song. If it was the interpretation of a melody and the lied and became world-famous, I performed a concert tour positively for approximately 40 years. Other than Faure, I cooperated with Vincent d'Indy and Joseph = ギィ ロパルツ, Albert Roussel, Arthur Honegger, Darius Milhaud and others personally and gave the first public performance of the vocal music music.

I was appointed from 1949 through 1966 by Professor ex-Emperor Paris music. A well-known pupil has カロリーヌ Dumas. Eizo Terui was given a private guidance in the Japanese in prewar days.

Recording

パンゼラ made a contract with French HMV following brilliant success of the premiere of [the horizon of the fantasy] promptly and prepared for recording. However, I was not able to continue recording the important repertory until the outbreak of war of 1940 because too many proposals were repeated as for the パンゼラ married couple from a day of the premiere.

In addition to sun = サーンス and Faure, Duparc, mosquito pre-らの liederkranz, I worked on the recording of the German lied. For example, in 1935, I make Alfred Cortot an accompanist and perform all songs recording of [love of the poet] of Roberto Schumann. I performed the recording of the opera and, other than an extract (1927) from [Pelleas et Melisande] of proud Debussy, took up Jean = Batty strike Rue re-Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig station wagon Beethoven, the work of Richard Wagner and others. In 1934, I participate in all songs recording of [reprobance of Faust] of Hector Berlioz.

The パンゼラ married couple left two points of LPs for Mercury レコーズ after the Great War, but was not chosen as an object of the remastering without being released again when the sound source of the label was made a CD by polygram company. Both LPs which are a master become the item of the rareness.

Writing

In パンゼラ, "vocalism" (L'Art de chanter) (1945 Paris) and "(L'Amour de chanter) to love songs" (1957 Paris), "lesson 30 pieces (L'Art vocal: 30 leçons de chant) of vocalization ... song" leave vocal music doctrine such as "your voice - whole-like instruction" (Votre voix: Directives génerales) (1967 Paris) (1959 Paris).
