A musical piece of the popular music which Robert Allen () composed (meaty chance, English: Chances Are) in "a chance of the love", and an Al steal man () wrote a song of. I was announced in 1957. It is one of large number of hits of the 1950s when a combination of steal man = Allen produced it. This music was included in a list of "the music (Most Played by Jockey) that DJ hung most" of Johnny Matisse by the investigation into "billboard" and appeared to the chart in 1957 and carried out entering palace of the Grammy (Grammy Hall of Fame Award) later in 1998. The single record which put this music and "age (The Twelfth of Never) to be in love" that Matisse did not like at first in the both sides rose to the fourth place in a number of "billboard" magazines investigation to sell over the count [1]. I was collected in compilation album "Johnny's Greatest Hits" released in 1958.
Matisse recorded this music by a duet with Minnelli again later to collect it in album "Gently" of Liza Minnelli in 1996.

It is the original piece of music with the coproduct including Laurence, and musical piece "Shizu Chan a" of Billy Laurence () that an English original title is same "Chances Are" is different from this music [2].
There is multiple 同名異曲 where a Japanese title of a musical composition is "a chance of the love" and, for example, is words, Kazumi Yasui, a work of composition, Yasushi Nakamura in "a chance of the love" put in the B side of the debut single "boyfriend" in 1974 of Chieko Matsumoto [3].
