Summary
A formal mascot character of Yokohama-shi Traffic Bureau established (1998) on October 10 in 1998. I am used for the decoration of a city bus, the subway vehicle and advertisement and financial statements, Yokohama-shi Traffic Bureau-related event of Traffic Bureau now in April, 2014 on October 10, 1998 same as an established day on a birthday.
Origin of the name
"Phosphorus" of the wheel of a city bus, the subway combined English word "Malin" (marine) that meant the sea in English with "はま" of "Yokohama "・" はまっこ" [1]. The name of "はまりん" was named by the open call for participants from Yokohama citizen.
Goods sale
Yokohama municipal subway visitor Service Center and Yokohama streetcar preservation building, online shop, はまりん convenience store などではまりん-related goods installed in some Yokohama municipal subway stations (Center-Minami Station, Shin-Yokohama Station, Yokohama Station, Kami-Ooka Station) are sold. As of April, 2014, a handkerchief or an eraser, the mobile cleaner, stuffed toy of the はまりん pattern are sold [2].
はまりん convenience store
The nickname of the convenience store developed in the some Yokohama municipal subway stations yard. FamilyMart was set up, but Daily YAMAZAKI has been ever set up now [3].
はまりん
A nickname of the Yokohama-shi Traffic Bureau 3000 form train 32nd formation operated in Yokohama municipal subway blue line. It becomes the body painting がはまりん pattern and performs advertising and the news of Yokohama-shi associated facilities in the inside of car, and it may be a vehicle displaying the works which recruited you in elementary schools during the part period.

どうぶつはまりん
A nickname of the Yokohama-shi Traffic Bureau 10000 form train 16th formation operated in Yokohama municipal subway Green Line. I start service on March 22, 2015 and become the painting that assumed an animal bred in よこはま Zoo ZOORASIA a motif. It was traveled by the 15th formation from July 18, 2009 to October 9, 2014.

はまりん bus
It is traveled as some natural gas car (CNG bus) がはまりん buses belonging to Yokohama municipal bus Sengencho Office and the Yokohama municipal bus green office. As for the vehicle of the Sengencho Office, the vehicle of the green office is attached for use around Nakayama Station around the Yokohama Station west exit, the Yokohama Station east exit. Unlike a subway vehicle, it is not announced the driving time beforehand.
