ムサイ
The aerial weapon that ムサイ (MUSAI[1]) comes up in the work which I did on the stage of space century among "the Gundam series." TV animated cartoon "Mobile Suit Gundam" that the first to go out was broadcasted in 1979. What became "ムサイ grade" and the class name than letter setting of "モビルスーツバリエーション" [2].

The light cruiser which was developed assuming use of モビルスーツ (MS). A prop lengthens after a main warship body above, and the shape of the warship comprises a bridge deck in the top and comprises a thermonuclear fusion rocket engine by one in the point of the board-formed prop which lengthened under right and left from there each. It is right under the bridge deck, and an MS deck is comprised and can emit MS for the warship rear. In addition, the side includes the supply hatch by three places of right and left, and the direct import of the supplies with the conveyer pipe is possible from a Papua grade replenishment vessel. As for the standard warship, two storing allows MS to four planes, a com rhinoceros on a deck. A latter term production type of the ムサイ grade coming up in OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 STARDUST MEMORY" [7].
Multi-launching main battery towers are built more and suffer from a bow bottom, the bridge deck rear five engines in total and ten 120mm multi-launching cannons are added and reduce a blind spot. However, a heat radiation board is installed in warship body right and left by three pieces because the burden of the generator was enhanced by the enlargement of the main battery [9]. The appearance of the bridge is similar to Fall Mel. In addition, the atmosphere plunge capsule connects com rhinoceros II.

"The last production trial manufacture model [12] of the ムサイ grade coming up for the war in the Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 pocket.
Fabrics do not usually change with a model, but it is redecorated generally by a sharp design. There is not the reinforcement of the armament such as the latter term production type, and the main batteries rather decrease in 2 gates. The com rhinoceros is connected, too [13], but exposure decreases; the ignorance including the shape.
It is designed again in last years of war for one year [14], and a slight number is constructed experimentally [11].

The atmosphere plunge capsule which is equipped with in the lower bow of the ムサイ grade. However, it is a lifting body machine having some mobility in the atmosphere. It is upside-down at the stage accommodated by ムサイ and 180 degrees turns after ejection and changes a posture [17]. Earth descent is possible without the consumption of the propellent except posture controlling it to get discharge muzzle velocity in what is emitted using a guide rail by ムサイ. But because the airtight cabin is attached to depend in the upper part to enter inside of a shock wave; of the former lower part that is necessary at the time of a landing cannot view it directly. "0080" "0083" was the first to go out, and, as for the last production type and latter term production type, setting was added all to the distinction with the normal ムサイ grade with mook and a book published several years later at first each without being done. I am considered to be "a last part of ムサイ production type" in "0083" official sites [21].
In comics "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN," I am set with the cruiser which I redecorated the carrier into, and it is said that the carrying capacity of the MS does not have any problem. As for the transportation model of a vessel and passenger ship type which became the base, is upside down with ムサイ; is laid out. ムサイ of this work comprises antiaircraft firearms to the warship rear more at first, and Fall Mel of シャア is equipped with one platoon (six two squads) and plane for exclusive use of シャア, seven rucksacks in total. The ムサイ itself came up from Episode 1 for TV, but there was not the reference about the warship class to Episode 4 for TV. In addition, "light cruiser" (Light Cruiser) as the concept corresponding to 重巡洋艦 is less than 10,000 tons of standard displacement set in London disarmament treaty, cruiser within deployment main battery diameter 15.5cm.
Warship of the same type
As of 2010, "ムサイ" of the name ship and the warship which I can identify do not come up. It is the warship becoming clear of the name during a drama as follows. Alternatively, a lot of warships of unknown name appear.
Mobile Suit Gundam
Fall Mel
Boarding of シャア in the beginning during the drama. The interior decoration is greatly different in a helmet-formed specific shape whereas a bridge deck of normal ムサイ is a flat box type. Originally it was ドズル the biの boarding, but シャア obtained it by transfer by the achievement by the ルウム war. That, in comics "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN," ドズル let prepare newly for シャア which gave the duty of the stronghold search of the Operation V, and remodeling is put for normal ムサイ, but is not remodeled as the boarding of ドズル; is set.
In addition, the name of a warship called Fall Mel was attached after it became considerably later, and was called "ムサイ for exclusive use of シャア" at the time of a TV version, a theater version. During the drama, I mention even シャア and drain to board by own warship "only with ムサイ". In addition, in the TV version, the cut that the main battery is described in 3 multi-launching exists.
Camel patrol fleet position warship
As for both warships, a mega particle gun turret is two engines. It carries Rick ドム six in 3 warships.
- Camel
- The flagship of the camel patrol fleet commanding drain. By a request of シャア アズナブル which is a former senior officer of the drain, I challenge White Base to fleet round. I was sunk following Suwa Mel by Gundam. A bridge deck is cut with the TV version by the beam saber, and bow brain including drain is exterminated. Beam ジャベリン which Gundam threw just after that hit an engine directly and sank instantly. It was for a theater, and a bridge deck, a gun turret, an engine were shot in beam weapon and sank instantly.
- Advantageous Mel
- In the case of a fleet war with the White Base, I am hit in gun turret. I followed and sank instantly by a direct hit.
- Suwa Mel
- In the case of a fleet war with the White Base, I was sunk by a beam weapon attack of Gundam.
Hoe Mel
I belong to the コンスコン task force. I was sunk by a bombardment war with the White Base which departed from side 6 of the neutrality area [24] at the very beginning. It rotated behind a detour, White Base by single warship to surround White Base, but a main force jumped ahead and has held the war. As a result, it was to the perfect target, and hoe Mel who had not yet gone out of the air boundary of forbidden side 6 of the war was attacked and sunk without being able to counterattack it. It is the type that this warship has only two gun turrets as well as a camel fleet.
バロメル
I belong to Solomon relief fleet (マ クベ fleet) commanding マ クベ. After マ クベ was reflected on single combat with Gundam in Texas colony sky area, I act under the conduct of the flag captain デラミン brigadier general, but it is attacked and sunk serious damage, the back by bombardment of the White Base.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080
Two last production types come up. During opera of Richard Wagner, a name same as each warship exists [25].
Zeke Freed
The first warship [14] of the last production type. I take a bodyguard of Graf Zeppelin of the phone Hel thing colonel performing the nuclear attack to side 6 Ribot colony as part of Rubicon plan.
Valkyrie
The second warship [11] of the last production type. I guard Graf Zeppelin with Zeke Freed. In addition, the Hel thing fleet meets on an outward trip road with Federales and loses one ムサイ grade and surrenders without performing nuclear attack, but it is unknown which was sunk.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 STARDUST MEMORY
A latter term production type is confirmed by デラーズ Fried and Cima fleet. In addition, the position warship of the Cima fleet is painted with chestnut brown not the green of the ムサイ tradition.
Nibelung
Cima fleet position. With backdoor transactions of Cima gallahow lieutenant colonel and the General green Wyatt, I come into contact with battleship Birmingham that is the boarding of the general. But, I was witnessed the south バニング captain ALBION corps to lead and the general betrayed it to disguise itself saying "it touched it accidentally and was at war with Nibelung" and bombarded the spot, and Nibelung was attacked and sunk [26].
Peer Gynt
Latter term model ムサイ which was redecorated, and was strengthened. The boarding warship of the Annabell gateau. A bridge deck was destroyed in the beam saber by the end game of the Operation waste of the star by GP03 to drive of Ko ウラキ. A comic was "the portrait of the comet where Mobile Suit Gundam C.D.A. was young" and performed the MS receipt from 11 Bunty.
From drama (dramatic poem) "Peer Gynt" that Henrik Ibsen made the origin of the name of a warship in 1867.
MS IGLOO series
There are a state, a city with a name same as each warship in Germany.
Schleswig
It is come up by OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO -1 age war confidential record -" Episode 1. I belonged to the 32nd squadron by ルウム war. The single column of the squadron collapses by the sinking by explosion of this warship. In addition, during a drama, it is the ムサイ grade cruiser which can confirm cover sinking by the bombardment of the Federales fleet first.
Kemp ten
The 91st patrol fleet position. I led ヨーツンヘイム which crossed the E field in an a バオア クー war with one sister ship and got the job to guard. Eフィールドの目標地点手前にて敵艦隊と遭遇、僚艦が艦橋右基部にメガ粒子砲の直撃を受け撃沈されるが、本艦と護衛目標であるヨーツンヘイムは共に敵艦隊の間隙をぬうことに成功し目標地点に到達、オッゴ10小隊のヨーツンヘイム発艦を見届けた。 だが、その直後に現れた新たな敵艦隊からの2発のミサイルが直撃し、撃沈されている[27]。
ノルトハウゼン
ア・バオア・クー戦においてEフィールドをヨーツンヘイムと共に防衛していたという説と、NフィールドからEフィールドを抜け、本国のサイド3へ撤退中の親衛艦隊の1隻もしくは別の所属の艦だったとする説がある。その際、損傷した熱核融合炉が臨界点を突破し暴走[28]、爆沈している[27]。
機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN
ワルキューレ
OVA『機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN』第1話に登場。正式名称ムサイ改型艦隊指揮艦として詳細が発表された艦。ジオン公国宇宙攻撃艦隊総司令であるドズル・ザビの座乗艦としてルウム戦役で活躍。外観はムサイ級に似ているが、艦隊旗艦として設計されているためムサイ改型と呼ばれている。全長302.3m、全高156.7m、全幅299.7mと、そのサイズは通常型と比較して約30パーセント以上も巨大であり、戦艦クラスに匹敵するほどである。2連装メガ粒子砲も大型化されており、攻撃能力はかなり高い。
レトヴィザン / キール / ザトペック / イオージマ
漫画『機動戦士ガンダム THE ORIGIN』に登場。全艦ルウム戦役に参加。
レトヴィザン、キール、ザトペックは開戦直後に被弾し、イオージマは主力部隊が転進するまでの時間を稼ぐために奮闘する。OVAでは初期量産型艦としてイオージマが登場。ワルキューレの盾となり護るようにして轟沈する。

ヴィムメル / ウーメル / ケルメル
漫画『機動戦士ガンダム C.D.A. 若き彗星の肖像』に登場。宇宙世紀0083年3月11日、地球連邦軍艦隊が侵攻しようとしていたジオン公国残党のヴァールシカ基地へ救援に向かう。いずれの艦も、メガ粒子砲は2基である。
キンメル
漫画『機動戦士ガンダム C.D.A. 若き彗星の肖像』に登場。グワラン艦隊所属。同艦隊所属艦の多くはソロモン会戦時に沈没または消息不明となっており、本艦もデータ上は撃沈となっていた。
副艦長：アンギラ・ロレンゾ少尉、パイロット：カース・コングレイ
ハボック / ホーカム
小説『モビルスーツコレクション・ノベルスACT.7 閃光の源』に登場。MS-06R-3を使用した公国軍初のビームライフル試射実験を行った実験艦隊の所属艦。ハボックは実験中に連邦軍MS部隊の襲撃により撃沈される。
ウォルメル / スネイル
漫画『ゼロの旧ザク』に登場。チベ級チェーホフを旗艦とするソロモン敗残艦隊の随伴艦。暗礁（デブリ）空域でミサイル攻撃を受け、旗艦を除き撃沈される。いずれも砲塔3基型。
他にヘクト艦長（階級不明）指揮下の砲塔2基型ムサイ（艦名不詳）が、主人公ニルス・テオレル軍曹が乗る最初の母艦として登場し、サラミスに撃沈されている。全艦宇宙攻撃軍所属。
ヘル＝ホーク
漫画『アウターガンダム』に登場。同作ではムサイのデザインにアレンジが加えられているが、ヘル＝ホークは同作における標準的なムサイよりも重装備であり、グラナダ所属のムサイよりも堅牢という旨の台詞があるほか、艦の上面にあるメガ粒子砲塔2基のほかに、艦底にもさらに2基の砲塔を有している。
艦長アド・ガーンズバックの指揮の下でソロモン戦に参加し、グラハム・チェンバレン指揮下のサラミス級と一騎討ちを行う。その後は一年戦争終戦まで残存し、艦長以下の乗員もろとも太陽系開発機構（SSDO）自衛警察軍（スペースポール）へと移籍。宇宙世紀0099年を舞台とする続編『機動戦士ガンダム ムーンクライシス』にも、宇宙警察機構所属艦としてガーンズバック指揮下の「ヘルホーク」が登場している。
ブルメル
漫画『MS戦記 機動戦士ガンダム0079外伝』に登場。主人公フレデリック・ブラウン他パイロット候補生をグラナダへ送り届けた。
ブレイブ
雑誌企画『ガンダム・センチネル』に登場。
「ペズンの反乱」終盤、月面都市エアーズの攻防戦において連邦軍に破れ脱出したトッシュ・クレイらニューディサイズの生き残りに対し、トワニング提督率いるネオ・ジオン先遣艦隊から試作MAゾディ・アックと共に譲渡された。
ゾディ・アックの運用母艦として改造されており、武装は取り外されている。運搬の際は左右のエンジンブロックの間にゾディ・アックの機首を挟むような形で曳航する。
ネオ・ジオンにおける艦名は明らかでないが、ニューディサイズに譲渡された際に作戦上の識別のため、エアーズ攻防戦で戦死したかつての首領ブレイブ・コッドの名をとり命名された。
地球攻撃作戦を前にゾディ・アックの慣熱航宙を行っている途中、追撃してきた地球連邦軍α任務部隊旗艦ペガサスIIIに遭遇しゾディ・アックを発進させる。その後の戦いでニューディサイズ側の将兵は大半が戦死または投降しているが、本艦の消息は不明となっている。
アハメル
漫画『機動戦士ガンダム バニシングマシン』に登場。グリプス戦役中に活動していたジオン残党が用いている艦で、エンジンブロックの間にビグロを露天繋止している。
ゼダンの門とされる以前のア・バオア・クーを視察するジャミトフ・ハイマンを乗せた艦隊を襲撃するが、戦闘に介入したパプテマス・シロッコのメッサーラの攻撃を受けて撃沈されている。
メイルメル
漫画『機動戦士ガンダムU.C.0096 ラスト・サン』に登場。
ジオンの敗残兵とその家族が身を潜めながら暮らしており、連邦軍に察知されないためにサイド7近域のデブリ帯に潜伏している。
後継艦
ムサイ改
『機動戦士Ζガンダム』に登場。一年戦争後、ジオン共和国の保有する主力艦艇としてムサイ級（ノーマル型）に近代化改修を施した物で、基本構造は大差は無く、単装対空砲が2基追加された他は、熱核反応炉や放熱機構に改良が成されている程度となっている。兵装は、連装メガ粒子砲×3、大型ミサイルランチャー×2、小型ミサイルランチャー×10、単装機関砲×2。 グリプス戦役時には一時共和国軍がティターンズの指揮下に入った為、チベ改級などと共にアポロ作戦などに参加している。当時の艦載機はRMS-106 ハイザック。
宇宙世紀0096年時にもジオン共和国軍の艦艇として使用され、艦載機はハイザック及びハイザック・カスタムである[29]。

エンドラ
『機動戦士ガンダムΖΖ』に登場する、アクシズ（ネオ・ジオン）の宇宙巡洋艦。ムサイ級の発展型であるため、ムサイ級に分類されることもある。
艦体規模（サイコガンダムMk-IIすら後部デッキに搭載可能なサイズ）、MS運用能力、火力、巡航性能が大幅に向上している。ムサイ級同様、大気圏突入カプセル（コムサイ）を艦橋後部に備えているが、バリュートを用いた単独での大気圏突入も可能。またミノフスキークラフトにより大気圏内で浮遊航行している場面も見られる。
主兵装は単装メガ粒子砲×5基。砲配置は横腹を向けて、敵艦と併走しながら同航砲撃戦を行うのが前提となっている。全長等は設定されておらず不明であるが、雑誌『アニメディア』86年6月号付録の記述では、全長は410m。
2基のMSカタパルトが艦の前方内部にあり、加速に必要な有効長を最大限確保する為か、設定資料によると軌条がX字状に途中で交差する形になっている。MS搭載機数は不明。

- グレミー・トトが艦長を務める青色の艦。サダラーンを護衛してミンドラなどと共に地球に降下している。冷凍睡眠装置を搭載した特別仕様であり、プルツー他のクローン強化人間をコールドスリープさせている区画がある。途中サイコガンダムMk-IIを受け取り、アーガマ撃沈を狙って、コロニーが落ちたダブリンへ赴いた。第一次ネオ・ジオン抗争末期にはミンドラと艦隊を組織しアクシズ防衛の任務につくが、グレミーの指揮のもとハマーンに対し反乱を起こした。

『機動戦士ガンダム 逆襲のシャア』に登場。塗装はムサイ伝統の緑ではなく、レウルーラ同様の赤系で艦体側面には個艦識別用のラインが書かれている。
ムサイ級の流れを汲んでいるとも言われるが[33]、機関部はムサイ特有の支柱外装式ではなく、後部内装式であるティベ級重巡の艦体構造に酷似したレイアウトを持っている。特徴として巨大な放熱パネルを艦底に2枚装備しているが、これは宇宙空間へ効果的な放射廃熱を行い、核融合炉からの熱を効率的に管理することにより電撃的な作戦を遂行すべく取られた設計である[34]。こうした大型放熱板は被弾に弱くなるデメリットはあるが、大規模な冷却装置を設置するよりも艦内容積を圧迫せず、安価であるとの特長から、敵である､ロンド・ベル隊の各艦にも採用されている。
『機動戦士ガンダム MSV-R ジョニー・ライデンの帰還』ではムサカ級の設計図が登場する。

- ネオ・ジオン艦隊の主力艦であり同型艦が13番艦まで建造された。作中で明確に判別できるのはネームシップのムサカの他、ルナツーの核兵器を搭載してアクシズに繋留されていた4番艦のみである。この艦は小惑星アクシズと一緒に降下し低高度で起爆して核の冬を起こすと同時に地球を放射能汚染する予定であったが、νガンダムによって撃沈されている。
- 小説『機動戦士ガンダムUC』では、宇宙世紀0096年までに数隻が就役しており9隻が「袖付き」所属のテニスン艦隊に編入され、2隻が「袖付き」旗艦レウルーラに随伴している。ほかにも1隻がパラオ攻略戦中に宇宙港内で沈んでいる。MSは最大6機搭載可能で、テニスン艦隊の艦載機はガザD、ガ・ゾウム、ズサ、ギラ・ドーガ、ギラ・ズール[35]。

- ルナツーに偽装投降する囮艦隊の旗艦であり、最終局面でアクシズに肉薄するロンド・ベル艦隊に突撃した以降の消息は不明（小説では最後の核ミサイルで轟沈）。

- いずれもテニスン大佐率いるテニスン艦隊所属。ガロムは同艦隊旗艦。艦長はテニスン大佐ではなく、別人が務める。グスコー艦長は、ガジュマル中佐。
