• 大柄な体型であるが、一徹を感心させた運動神経の持ち主で、巨人入団テストの100m走では11秒9の好タイムをマークしている。豊福きこうは野球漫画のデータを分析した著作の中で、伴が最後の打席で半病人状態で見せたクロスプレー（アニメではぎりぎりでアウト）についても「伴の俊足をもってしてもアウトになったと見るべきだ」と書いている。
