The hearing aid (きゅうまるしきだいくうちゅうちょうおんき) out of 90 sets of skies is the sound detection device which the Japanese military adopted in (1932) in 1932.
Summary
I regarded the sound of the plane which flew as the hearing aid and calculated the position and movement direction, but disappeared by the practical use of the high radar of the detection precision more. However, I continued being used in a search technology with the radar (radar) to the Pacific War end of the war brink in Japan where I fell behind from Europe and America. Under the favorable conditions, I was able to detect an aim of approximately 10km ahead.
There is a trumpet-formed power of hearing device in the tip of this device and collects it in this from the air. I sent power of hearing device and Mike to the direction that a sound had a biggest and was a thing to link it, and to read an angle and the number of the direction.
But there was the problem to be easy to depend on the atmospheric state with a hearing aid. This is because the speed of the sound fluctuates in an atmospheric state. A nose largely fell down at the time of the bad weather in particular and I added it and became hard to follow it by the performance enhancement of the enemy plane.
Traction was possible, and, as for these equipment parts, the improvement type "93 sets of large hearing aid" equipped with the calculator which automatically modified deviations such as temperature or the wind later was developed on a four-wheeled cart.
