Yozo Amenomiya
Yozo Amenomiya (あめみやようぞう, 1903 – ) is an editor on December 2, 1999. Yamanashi birth.
I am a graduate from a Waseda University society philosophy department. I write a minute review of "Chuo Koron" to Yusaku Shimanaka who is a senior of Waseda every month and I am in charge of Junichirou Tanizaki Director "Chuo Koron" editing in Chuokoron-Sha in entering a company, 1929 and, from all over the attendance at school, throw it on Director publication in 1932 in 1928. By consultation with Tanizaki, I decide the deletion of the part about the Imperial Family while I am in charge of "Junichirou Tanizaki reason The Tale of Genji" from 1934 and ask Takao Yamada for supervision. Because Tatsuzo Ishikawa placed "a living soldier", I return to the "Chuo Koron" chief editor in 1937 but face criminal charges with Ishikawa in 1938 and I take responsibility and receive the punishment for stay of execution three years for imprisonment four months leaving the office, one year later. It is a case to be known as a prewar speech oppression case.
I took office as the director of the nation arts and sciences association where the Ministry of Education authorization was granted to (1940) as a private academy on February 26 in 1940 and acted as an officer until activity interruption in 1944 with Shimanaka and Gennyoku Kuwaki, 清澤洌, Nyozekan Hasegawa and others.
I entered Yomiuri Shimbun by a pull of Tsunego Baba after the war and acted as a scientific director, editorial writer. There is reminiscences "grass journalist 60 (Chuokoron-Sha, 1988) to remember", and the letter to Amemiya is published than Tanizaki from the Tanizaki Memorial.
