Mitsuaki Kanno

Mitsuaki Kanno (かんのみつあき, from July 10, 1939 to August 15, 1983) is a Japanese composer, jazz pianist. I am from Miyagi.

Origin, person

I graduate from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music music department composition department. In 1966 during university attendance at school, "the sonata for a viola and a piano" which applied for the 35th Japanese music contest Original Score Part 2 (indoor musical piece) serves as a third place winning prize. I play an active part as a jazz pianist after graduation from university mainly.

With Shochiku movie "container of the sand shown in 1974," composition, a piano played the beautiful theme music "suite fate for a piano and an orchestral music" like Rakhmaninov, and every 29th won movie contest music Prize, Moscow film festival Soviet Union composer alliance Prize on a day.

A figure died at 44 years old because of illness many in the music of a movie and the TV drama afterwards.
