The remains of East Nara

The remains of East Nara (in Higashi remains) are remains of the large-scale moat colony of the Yayoi period in the east side whole area from southern part of Ibaraki-shi, Osaka, Hankyu Minami-Ibaraki Station. In the case of large-scale housing complex construction of the Minami-Ibaraki Station neighborhood whole area founded with Osaka World Exposition in 1973, I was discovered. East 300m of Minami-Ibaraki Station includes the municipal cultural assets museum which I possess an excavated article and displayed.

Summary

In the remains of East Nara, there were the large building including the inside above-ground house-type warehouse of the double circular moat and a lot of houses, and there were the cemetery bounds very large outside. 35 points of molds of the bronze bell-shaped vessel are excavated, and, besides, the molds such as a bronze sword (the pike which how about), the comma-shaped bead (comma-shaped bead) are found by a discovered studio trace. A bronze bell-shaped vessel produced with a mold here is discovered in the whole Kinki in Shikoku.

This village is a bronze bell-shaped vessel factory largest in Japan along with Karako, key to Nara remains, a copper product factory, and it is indicated to have occupied the position important politically so as to be able to distribute a bronze bell-shaped vessel to each place in many "countries" of Japan in Yayoi period.

In addition, 14.2 centimeters of small bronze bell-shaped vessels are found height. As for the origin of the bronze bell-shaped vessel, it is unknown, but it is said that this bronze bell-shaped vessel may become the key solving the mystery.

This neighborhood is called "沢良宜" (さわらぎ), and there is "佐和良義神社" in the main Shinto shrine, and 迦具土神 is worshiped. Because the kagu is a copper archaic word, and サワラギ becomes Spanish mackerel (copper utensil) ギ (邑), this whole area can learn that processing and the relations of the copper product were close.
