The palm tree which is a Saudi Arabian tree is described in the Saudi Arabian national emblem (body of Saudi Arabia occurs) on two cross new moon swords (a stain ter). The palm and the crest of the sword have been used from about 1930, but are used for a national emblem from 1950.

There is the thing to express Saud family and the boo herbs that the founding of a country did thing and Saudi Arabia to express two areas of "ナジュド and the ヒジャーズ kingdom" which were the name of a country before the name of a country becomes Saudi Arabia as for the thing which two swords meant at the beginning of establishment.

The palm tree expresses agriculture, an oasis, vitality, growth, and it is said that two swords express power to come from justice and faith, the protection of Islam today.
